The Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress is a flanger pedal featuring a noise filter to eliminate some of the noise found on the original Electric Mistress. It offers knobs controlling the Color, Range, and Rate, as well as separate Dry and Wet outputs.
Use the Deluxe Electric Mistress guitar pedal for a unique flanging effect for high and low limits of pitch. Control the rate of the effects using the rate control of this Electro-Harmonix guitar pedal. And for the input signal to appear in a vibrato-like style, just turn the dial of this EHX effect pedal clockwise. For a narrow sweeping effect, you can fully adjust the setting to the counterclockwise option using the Deluxe Electric Mistress guitar pedal where the lower limit remains just below the higher one. Set the rate near maximum for a rotating speaker effect with the color approximately being halfway using this Electro-Harmonix guitar pedal. For manual flanging and frozen tonal colors, use the filter matrix mode of this EHX effect pedal.
This pedal has a sound that is instantly recognizable! Andy Summers in the late '70s and early '80s. You can also get a lot of other 80's sounds. Think Siouxsie and the Banshees, Israel. If these are the type of sounds you are looking for I highly recommend picking one up!
