Moog Matriarch is a patchable 4-note paraphonic analog synthesizer with a built-in Sequencer, Arpeggiator, stereo Ladder Filters, and stereo Analog Delay. Create rich evolving chord patterns immediately with "no patching required", then tap into an abundance of inspiring textures, new sounds, and an endless supply of happy accidents through Matriarch's 90 modular patch points. Based on the vintage circuitry of classic Moog synthesizer modules, Matriarch is a catalyst for creative ideas and a medium for multi dimensional expression.

Create everything from overdriven monophonic bass to washed-out paraphonic plucks using four analog oscillators and a dedicated full-range analog LFO with six selectable waveshapes. Transform your sound using dual analog filters based on the 904A module, ADSR envelopes based on the 911 module, and VCAs based on the 902 module.

This is a truly beautiful beast with many heads, which has creativity at the very soul of its being. It predictably has that vintage Moog sound, while being highly adaptable and incredibly creative, which invites its use in the studio and as a live machine. The alignment of oscillators allows for some really interesting use when exploited via the arpeggiator and sequencer; setting different waveforms and pitch ranges across the four VCOs brings unpredictability, which is highly desirable for music creation. The one thing that is for sure is that it’s completely possible to get lost in its sounds and architecture.
